1. Data controller
[Operator or company name], [full address], [business email], [data protection contact if applicable]. Replace these details before publication.
2. Hosting and server logs
The hosting provider processes connection information needed to deliver this website. The owner must document the provider, server location, processing agreement, data fields, legal bases and actual retention periods.
3. Cookies and language
No analytics or advertising trackers are included in this magazine setup. WordPress may use essential cookies for signed-in users. Language is maintained through page URLs; Polylang may also use a language cookie depending on its settings. Automatic redirection based on browser language is disabled.
4. Contact form
The form processes your name, email, subject, message and consent timestamp. Messages are stored as private WordPress entries accessible to website administrators. External email delivery is not connected. The owner must establish access controls, handling procedures, a legal basis and retention periods.
To limit automated requests, a salted value derived from the IP address is retained for up to 15 minutes. The contact inbox does not store the IP address. Failed form entries may be temporarily stored for up to ten minutes so they can be corrected. Hosting logs require a separate review.
5. Newsletter
The newsletter is not active. The visible signup field is disabled and collects no email addresses. Before activation, document the provider, processing agreement, consent, double opt-in, withdrawal and deletion process.
6. External content and links
Illustrations are served locally. No remote fonts or embedded social widgets are included. Sharing links open the relevant platform only after a click, at which point its own privacy terms also apply. Any new embeds must be reviewed before activation.
7. Your rights
The owner must explain the rights applicable to the actual processing, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal, together with the relevant supervisory authority and complaint route. A valid contact must be added.
8. Deletion and changes
Messages should be retained only as long as their purpose and applicable obligations require. Specific retention periods, responsibilities and the date of the last legal review must be added before launch.
